About the event

This presentation hosted by John Palmer, Research and Policy Director  from the  Passivhaus Trust Team  will put the scale of the retrofit challenge into context and explain the scale of what is needed from retrofit to achieve net zero overall for our homes 

The webinar will define net zero for housing and explain the scale of the retrofit challenge needed to get to net zero in the UK, there will be an opportunity to view a case study where these applications have been used.  After the event you will understand: 

  • the definition of net zero with respect to houses; 
  • the contribution of housing to UK emissions; 
  • what level of energy efficiency is needed in homes to contribute to net zero; 
  • the scale of the retrofit challenge and how Passivhaus can contribute
Time: 17:15 for 17:30 start (Please join at least 10/15 minutes prior to start time to enable a prompt start)
Who should Attend?

Anybody involved in the design or construction of new homes or retrofit projects
