About the event

Presentation by Matthew Greaves - Founder of Drones on Demand Limited

Drones are increasingly seen as useful tools within the workplace, delivering benefits across many industry sectors. Realising the potential of these new tools isn’t as simple as just “buying and flying” the drone.

Organisations must ensure that they comply with specific legislation, insurance and registration requirements as well as making sure that the remote pilot has the ability to fly safely and can competently capture the required data. Managing and presenting this data to deliver value can also present challenges includes processing the data afterwards to generate value.

Matthew's presentation will consider aviation legislation using examples of projects that have realised value for clients. He will outline some of the common pitfalls around starting to use drones and how to maximise potential.

Matthew has previously delivered CPD to the Chartered Institute of Insurers, Chartered Institute of Waste Management, the Institute of Civil Engineers, and have spoken on the subject at the GEO Business Show and Leeds Business Week.
