Key Employment Issues and Apprenticeship Levy Update

The Chartered institute of Building are delighted to announce their upcoming CPD event on Key Employment Issues and Apprenticeship Levy Update. We will be joined by Sarah Peacock, Partner, and Natalie Painter, Senior Solicitor at Blake Morgan, a leading law firm based in the South of England. Blake Morgan advise on all areas of employment law, contentious and non-contentious as well as business restructuring, changes to terms and conditions of employment and redundancy. Sarah and Natalie will share their expertise and address issues within the construction workplace, including dealing with conduct and capability issues (a quiet chat versus a formal disciplinary); flexible working (benefits versus disadvantages); and other topical issues.

Apprenticeship Levy update: Tony Moss & Matt Butcher from Bournemouth & Poole College will give a summary into the changes of employing apprentices and how it will affect you, including What is the levy?  What additional funding is available for employers?  Who will have to pay a levy and how much will it cost a levy payer?
